The NASA/IPAC Infrared Science Archive undertook a major upgrade to its website and user experience this year. The work was motivated by the need to facilitate access to a growing number of astronomical data sets, as well as to better guide the user towards the many data exploration tools that are offered. The core philosophy of the redesign was to ensure focus on the most important items by reducing clutter and simplifying iconography. At the same time, the website was required to provide easy access to the full set of IRSA’s holdings and services. We discuss the redesign process and the key features of the new website.
